There are lots of good affirmation and community in your adventures. The hikes in the Rockies in particular sound amazing!

My last month has been a bit different. I’ve been focused on the commercial side for several months – trying to sell prints and books on Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, Redbubble. It just hasn’t panned out like I wanted. Sales are occasional – not anything that would support a full time photography hobby.

At the same time we had a scare with a homophobic neighbor. We installed a security system and it just wasn’t good for a while.

I’ve decided to let the commercial side go – and just get back to making fun pictures again. It’s amazing how much time it takes and I realized it wasn’t adding anything to my life. It feels so good when I make a picture I like and I’ve been missing that feeling.

I’ve also decided to open up my range of pictures a lot more. I want to do a lot more self story shots – and I also have some ideas I want to try out underwater.

Anyway, I just thought I would keep you updated. Thanks for the inspiration!
